Shell and Tube Heat exchanger Series ST
Graphite shell and tube heat exchangers are constructed from the following components:
* Graphite tubes in standard dimensions of 26/15, 32/22, 37/25 and 50/37 mm
* Standard tube lengths up to 7.5m and longer
* Two tube sheets - one fixed and the other floating, relative to the shell
* Baffle cages with baffles made from graphite, or from other materials on request
* Headers made from graphite or other materials.
* Shell made from steel or other material
* Partition plates in the headers allow several passes through the tube bundle, when required in the process.
* As a design variant for heat exchange between two corrosive media, special designs can be supplied on request with a suitable anti-corrosion coating of steel shell or graphite shell.
